Mr. Trezevant's journey commenced with his graduation from Eau Claire High School in 1977. A former Los Angeles Police Officer, he excelled in various capacities, contributing to community enhancement, narcotics control, gang intervention, and major crimes.
Upon returning to Columbia, SC, Mr. Trezevant briefly served with the Richland County Sheriff's Department before venturing into entrepreneurship, establishing his own business in security, networking, and voice/data communications.

His father, the late Ezekiel H. Trezevant, Jr., significantly impacted the community by establishing the Eva P. Trezevant Memorial Library, providing essential resources in a low-income neighborhood. He also pioneered the establishment of the first Black Owned Crematorium in South Carolina.
Mrs. Elizabeth J. Trezevant, Mr. Trezevant's mother, has been a steadfast supporter of Project Unity USA, contributing to community events and projects. As a retired nurse at Richland Memorial Hospital, her compassionate care touched the lives of many in Columbia.
Beyond his family's legacy, Mr. Bruce Trezevant has dedicated his life to public service, serving in various roles, including Sgt. at Arms for the Eau Claire Rotary, a Past SC board member at Engenuity, and active participation in the Gang Prevention Study Committee for the state of South Carolina.
Affectionately known as "Mr. Bruce," his selflessness knows no bounds, exemplified by his kidney donation to a high school friend and unwavering support throughout their journey.
The mission of Project Unity USA is to foster unity within communities by bringing together five vital groups: the Community, Law Enforcement, Politicians, Clergy, and Business. The goal is to facilitate a shared understanding of how each group can contribute to building safer communities for all, with a central focus on training and organization.
As a rapidly expanding nonprofit organization, Project Unity USA invites other nonprofits to join its collective efforts, working towards the shared vision of creating safer, more vibrant communities where everyone can live, work, and play without fear.
